A Little History

For over 20 years, Mom's Bake-At-Home Pizza has been recognized as a pizza icon in the Greater Philadelphia area.  Why?  Because pizza lovers no longer have to compromise quality in order to have great pizza in the comfort of their own homes.

The idea of bake-at-home pizza was born by Nicholas Castellucci in 1960's Philadelphia.  Nicholas owned traditional pizza shops at the time, but would often take his fresh pizza home for his family to bake in their own ovens.  He soon realized the rest of us would like to bake our own as well.

In 1981, the Mom's Bake-At-Home Pizza franchise was established and no longer would discriminating pizza lovers have to settle for late deliveries and soggy toppings.  Pizza could forever be enjoyed the way it was meant to be: piping hot, fresh, crisp & right out of the oven.

The   pizza   revolution   had   begun!!!

The Owners

Our Havertown store has been a staple to the Mom's franchise for most of the past 20 years, and in June of 2003, Bob & Jane Smith became its proud owners.  Both have numerous years in the food & hospitality industries and have already greatly enjoyed working within the great community of Havertown and its surrounding areas.

Though a teacher for many years, Bob's food experience is deep, with stints in family, private and fine dining establishments.  Bob is the full time owner/operator of the store.  Jane, presently a physical therapist, also has roots in food and beverage.

Make-A-Wish Wednesdays

On Wednesdays, we have partnered with a very special organization to help a very special group of children.  When you purchase a Large Gourmet Pizza on Wednesdays, we donate $2 to our local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping terminally ill children fulfill their dreams.  "We hope our little program can raise significant funds for this outstanding charity, but more importantly, increase awareness to this and other charitable organizations that make a real difference in the world."  Click here to learn more about the
Make-A-Wish Foundation.
